Any Plainfield or Meriden resident requiring assistance from the Town is eligible to apply to the welfare office. Please call the Town Office at (603) 469-3201 and a discrete meeting will be arranged.

Exists to support and assist those whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS.

COMMUNITY ALLIANCE
Provides counseling and support for youth and their families, available 24 hours a day; works with court ordered juveniles, maintaining Chandler House, an emergency, temporary home for these clients.

SOUTHWESTERN COMMUNITY SERVICES

VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION
A program from Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, that provides caring volunteers of all ages who assist neighbors in need of a helping hand. Most frequently used services are: transportation, visitation, and food shopping.
