The Recreation Commission is responsible for developing and administering sports programs for the children of Plainfield. We offer many programs that focus on having fun, developing healthy recreation habits and teaching skills that can be used for a lifetime.

Normally held in late spring.

Location: Blood Brook behind Meriden Deli-Mart

Baseball Back To Top
Co-ed baseball with divisions for grades 3 and 4 and grades 5 and 6. Emphasis is on skills development and healthy competition. Games are scheduled with neighboring towns. Normally runs during mid spring.

For girls in grades 3 thru 6. Emphasis is on skills development and healthy competition. Games are scheduled with neighboring towns. Normally runs during mid spring.

T-Ball Back To Top
Co-ed beginning baseball. Teaches the fundamentals of baseball for Kindergarten thru 2nd grade. Emphasis is on skills development. Normally runs during early summer.
